Sat 06 Dec: Cantate sings on the Jefferson Choral Society's Concert 7:30pm at Heritage Methodist (warm-up at 6:30pm) - tickets required for concert - On concert days, please arrive in vestments along with the following items:
black dress pants black dress shoes black tights or black socks
Remember girls are to wear your hair pulled back out of your face, no fingernail polish, no jewelry, and only minimal makeup. Boys, remember no watches! Remember that your vestments are to be cleaned and pressed before each concert.
Cleaning Instructions for the Cantate Vestments
We prefer that the choristers’ vestments be professionally dry cleaned prior to our performances. However, if you wish to wash them yourself, please follow the following directions.
Cassock (black):The cassock should be washed in COLD water BY IT SELF. The stain may bleed if it is brand new so please be careful. It can be tumble dried on medium heat and then ironed.
Surplice (white): The surplice should be washed in WARM water BY IT SELF. They may be tumbled dried on medium heat and then ironed.

Mon 15 Dec: 4-5pm Cantate Holiday Party (ONE HOUR ONLY) at St. John's Episcopal

Annual Awards Banquet to follow Concert in Magill Hall at St. John's
Mon 11 May: Special rehearsal 4-6pm at St. John's Episcopal
Mon 18 May: Special rehearsal 4-6pm at St. John's Episcopal
Sat 23 May: Cantate sings with the Jefferson Choral Society at the D-Day Memorial evening concert (time TBA)
Tue 26 May: Cantate concert for the Lynchburg Chapter of the American Guild of Organists in Bedford 7:30pm (place TBA)
